Neroli is steam distilled from the white blossoms of the bitter orange tree. It smells floral and green with a bright citrus lift, lighter and more honeyed than the peel oil from the same tree. You will also see it called orange blossom.
Neroli sits at the top and in the heart. It lifts a floral heart and gives cologne-style blends their classic sparkle, and it works well with white florals, violet and a touch of clove.
