Fully enjoying life means that we try new things, go on adventures, and may even end up with bumps and bruises along the way. We can't have these things slow us down so we need quick relief and treatment for all of life's little injuries. There are tons of different first aid products out there so it can be hard to decide which ones fit our needs and lifestyle the best. When we are looking for natural and plant-derived first aid products with ingredients we recognize and lower chances of adverse side effects, essential oils are our best bet. Many essential oils have properties that are useful for first aid treatment and they have been used by many cultures throughout history to treat injuries and illness long before the advent of modern western medicine. When diluted and used topically, essential oils can help to ease pain in a specific area or speed up wound healing and prevent infection. These oils can be diluted in our favorite carrier oil and used alone for their amazing benefits or whipped up into natural and handmade products to have on hand when we need them most. Spray on minor cuts, scrapes, and burns to help ease pain and inflammation. Healing Booster First Aid Salve Ingredients 4oz Fractionated Coconut Oil 2oz Unrefined Shea Butter 2oz Beeswax Pearls 50 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil 25 drops Myrrh Essential Oil 25 drops Helichrysum Essential Oil Small Metal Tins Instructions Heat beeswax and shea butter in a double boiler until fully melted. Add coconut oil and stir to combine. Remove from heat and gently stir in essential oils. Pour into tins and allow to cool and set overnight. Apply a thin layer to the affected area to speed healing and combat germs and infection. No More Itch Roll-On Ingredients ⅓oz Fractionated Coconut Oil 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil 10 ml Amber Roll-On Bottle Instructions Add all the ingredients to the roll-on bottle and shake well to combine. Muscle Relief Massage Oil Ingredients 2oz Fractionated Coconut Oil 1oz Jojoba Oil 1oz Aloe Vera Oil 25 drops Rosemary Essential Oil 20 drops Peppermint Essential Oil 10 drops Helichrysum Essential Oil 4oz Amber Glass Bottle Instructions Add all the ingredients to a 4 ounce bottle and shake to combine. Add a few drops to your hands and massage the oil into sore muscles or joints.
