Autumn Winds Hydrating Facial Serum
The dropping temperatures and sometimes breezy conditions of fall can be some of the best parts of the season for many people. The chill creeping in also means that we will be turning up our thermostats and putting our fireplaces to use again to keep our homes toasty and warm. These things combined can often have the side effect of being a little bit unkind to the skin, sucking out moisture and causing increased dryness. This is a great time of year to start boosting our skincare routines with extra hydrating and nourishing products. This easy-to-make serum is packed full of powerful ingredients that may help keep our skin soothed and moisturized. Sweet almond oil is very similar to the natural oils in the skin helping this serum to be easily absorbed into our skin for maximum efficiency. Jojoba oil helps to condition the skin while soothing any irritation. Vegetable glycerine’s humectant properties allow it to draw moisture from the atmosphere into the skin and keep it there for a softer and smoother complexion. Rosemary lavender, and cedarwood essential oil help to revitalize the skin and calm inflammation and dryness. Adding this simple serum to our routine can help to keep skin soft and happy so we can continue to enjoy those crisp morning walks and nights by the fire all season long.
