Cycle Support Blend: Meet the Ingredients

Cycle Support Blend combines lavender, sage, bergamot, ylang ylang, cedarwood, fennel, geranium, palmarosa, ginger, and carrot seed essential oils for a soothing herbal aroma that may help to calm discomfort in the body and mind during that time of the month.  It is known to balance the emotions and encourage positive and grounded thoughts when fluctuating hormones cause the mood to swing to extremes.  Cycle Support Blend has been found to ease cramps and abdominal pain while working to reduce bloating and inflammation.  


What’s in it?

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender Essential Oil is known to calm feelings of stress and worry to help bring fluctuating emotions back into balance while also helping to diminish fatigue and improve sleep.  It has also been found to combat inflammation in the body which may work to ease pain from cramps and reduce the discomfort of bloating. 

Sage Essential Oil

Sage Essential Oil has been found to soothe pain and calm muscle spasms and cramps while working to support a healthy, regular cycle.  It may also help to relieve feelings of stress, stabilize emotions and improve thought processes for a positive and attentive state of mind.  

Bergamot Essential Oil

Bergamot Essential Oil is believed to help relieve aches and pains while working to calm the mind and relax the body during stressful and uncomfortable periods.  It has been found to combat insomnia and encourage improved sleep onset and duration to help avoid fatigue and increase mental energy levels. 

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is known to soothe stress and balance emotions to avoid the onset of period-induced anxiety and depression.  It may also help to soothe inflammation and regulate oil production in the skin to help combat hormonal acne and blemishes.  

Cedarwood Essential Oil

Cedarwood Essential Oil is believed to stimulate the circulatory system which may help to stabilize irregular menstruation and reduce inflammation that can cause pain and swelling.  It is also known to combat PMS symptoms such as mood swings and fatigue by working to ease anxiety and relax the body. 

Fennel Essential Oil

Fennel Essential Oil has been found to soothe bloating and diminish symptoms of PMS while helping to ease pain and cramps.  It has also been found to support a short and healthy cycle and reduce gas, stomach upset, and digestive discomfort. 

Geranium Essential Oil

Geranium Essential Oil is known to relieve stress and uplift the mood and may help to support balance hormone levels during monthly fluctuations.  It has been found to soothe pain and inflammation as well as help to reduce the appearance of acne, blemishes, and signs of aging on the skin. 

Palmarosa Essential Oil

Palmarosa Essential Oil may help to boost the mood and banish feelings of depression and negativity that can manifest during a period.  It is also believed to reduce pain and soreness while working to ease bloating, cramps, and other PMS symptoms. 

Ginger Essential Oil

Ingredients

Instructions

Add enough coffee beans to each mold to completely cover the bottom of the mold cavities.  Add cocoa butter, beeswax, and coconut oil to a heat-safe bowl and melt on a double boiler.  Remove from heat, add jojoba oil and essential oil blend and, then gently stir until they are completely integrated.  Carefully pour the mixture into the molds.  Allow the bars to cool completely before removing them from the mold.  Rub the flat side of the bar over the abdomen, then flip the bar over to the coffee bean side to gently massage the oils into the skin.

Instructions

Combine all the citric acid, baking soda, sweet almond oil, and fragrance oil in a bowl and mix well using gloved hands.  Spritz a small amount of witch hazel onto the top of the powder mixture and stir it in.  Repeat this process until the mixture packs together easily with a similar texture to wet sand.  Scoop the mixture into each mold one at a time and pack them down tightly.  Allow them to dry for at least 24 hours.   Store them in an airtight container.  While running water, drop one into the bath and allow it to fully dissolve.

Ingredients

Instructions

Add 2 ounces of alcohol to the bottle.   Add the essential oil blend and fill the remainder of the bottle with water, leaving a little space at the top.  Shake well before each use.   Spray around the home.
