Shipping Policy:

Our Fulfillment Center operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM PST to 3:00 PM PST.

The Essential Oil Company offers $5 Flat Rate shipping for all online orders 5 lbs and under. All other shipments will be calculated by weight.

Typically, all orders ship within 3-4 business days of purchase. EOC does not operate over the weekends, and orders placed over the weekend will ship out the following week. During busy periods, including holidays and sales periods, the processing time can increase to 5-7 business days before your package is shipped.

The Essential Oil Company reserves the right to adjust shipping charges as needed. In the event your shipping fee needs to be adjusted, someone from our customer service team will reach out to you to discuss best options.

International shipments and faster shipping will require an extra fee.

Note: Expedited shipping methods will ship the same business day if placed before 10:00 AM PST (Excluding Holidays / Weekends), otherwise they will ship the following day. 

International Shipping Policy

We are delighted to offer international shipping to our valued customers worldwide. Please review the following information regarding international orders:

Customs Fees and Import Taxes: Customers should be aware that international orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, duties, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Any such fees are the responsibility of the recipient and vary from country to country. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information about potential fees before placing an order.

Customs Clearance: International shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. While we make every effort to ensure smooth customs clearance, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates for international orders.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Times: Shipping rates and delivery times for international orders vary depending on the destination and chosen shipping method. During the checkout process, customers can view available shipping options and estimated delivery times for their specific location.

Shipping Restrictions: Certain items may be restricted from international shipping due to legal or logistical reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage customers to review our list of prohibited items before placing an order.

Order Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor the status of your shipment. Please note that tracking information may not be available for all international orders, especially those shipped via economy or standard shipping methods.

Lost or Damaged Shipments: While we take every precaution to ensure the safe delivery of your order, we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments once they have been handed over to the carrier for delivery. In the event of a lost or damaged shipment, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you in resolving the issue.

Back Orders:

If an item is backordered it will ship as soon as it is in stock. You will be notified of a backorder by our customer service team through email. For any questions regarding out of stock items please contact us at


We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

  • Your item must be unused and unopened and in the same condition that you received it.

  • The item must be in the original packaging.

  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Exempt Goods

The following are exempt from refunds:

  • Distillation Equipment

Partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

  • Please see, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Defective or damaged product policy: 

If your order arrives with any damages please contact us right away and we would be happy to assist you. Please email and include a photo.  Please also include a detailed description of the problem along with your order number.  Product will be replaced or a refund can be submitted.
