Black Pepper may be most well known as a staple seasoning in our pantry but it is also packed with benefits that make it useful outside of the kitchen. The aroma of Black Pepper Essential Oil can be described as warm and spicy with a dry, woodsy undertone. In aromatherapy, Black Pepper Essential Oil may help to calm and energize the mind.
Black Pepper is also commonly used in massage oils.
Botanical Name: Piper nigrum L.
Origin: India, Madagascar
Aroma: Spicy, warm, peppery, woodsy, and dry.

Blends Well With: Ylang Ylang, Bitter Orange, Basil, Anise, Bergamot, Lavender, Tea Tree, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon essential oils.

- Diffuse Black Pepper Essential Oil in the morning to help wake up the mind and get the body going for the day.
- Combine 5 drops of Black Pepper Essential Oil with a carrier oil inside a 10ml roller bottle. Apply it to your wrists to keep anxiety at bay and balance emotions.
- Combine 1 oz of carrier oil with 10 drops of Black Pepper Essential Oil and massage it into sore and stiff muscles.
