Holiday Blend: Meet the Ingredients

Holiday Blend combines Blood Orange, Clove, Ginger, Peppermint, Cinnamon Bark, Geranium, Anise, Myrtle, and Peru Balsam essential oils to create a sweet and spicy aroma that brings about the warm and fuzzy feelings we associate with the holidays. It has been found to ease feelings of stress and tension, working to encourage a positive and uplifted mood. Holiday Blend is thought to enhance comfort and relaxation while keeping the mind alert and active for improved focus and motivation. This soothing blend of essential oils may help to combat cold and flu symptoms as well as support restful sleep to keep us feeling joyful and well throughout the holiday season.

Blood Orange Essential Oil

Clove Essential Oil

Ingredients

Instructions

Add 2 ounces of high-percentage alcohol to the bottle. Add the essential oil blend and fill the remainder of the bottle with water, leaving a little space at the top. Shake well before each use. Spray around the home before family gatherings and holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Instructions

Add all ingredients to the amber glass bottle and shake vigorously to combine. Add several drops to your hands and massage into the abdomen to soothe discomfort. 

Winter Comfort Aromatherapy Heating Pad

Winter Comfort Aromatherapy Heating Pad

Supplies

  • 1 yard of Flannel Fabric
  • Thread in Matching Color
  • 3 cups of Uncooked Rice 
  • 60 drops of Holiday Blend

Instructions

Cut the fabric into 2 rectangles of equal size and place one on top of the other with the right sides together. With a machine or by hand, carefully sew along each side, leaving a 2-inch opening on one side. Turn fabric outside in. Add the rice and essential oils to a bowl and gently stir to coat the rice. Fill the bag with the scented rice mixture. Sew the opening closed and use your hand to evenly distribute the rice throughout the pad into a relatively flat shape. To use, place the pad in the microwave and heat it in 20 seconds increments until you achieve the level of heat you desire. Place on the area causing pain on and off for 15-minute increments.
