Description

Despite its sweet, fresh, and lemony aroma, Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil is extracted from the fruit of a tree in the laurel family rather than in the citrus family. It is believed to encourage relaxation and uplift the mood while also helping to combat negative emotions. Used topically, Litsea is known to soothe acne-prone skin by balancing oil production and boosting skin cell regeneration. In soapmaking, Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil can help to enhance the aroma of citrus oils and give all fragrance blends more staying power in the finished bar.

Uses

• Diffuse 3 drops each of Litsea Cubeba, Lemon, and Sweet Orange essential oils to uplift your mood and combat negativity.
• Add Litsea Cubeba to your favorite cold process soap recipe for a long-lasting citrusy note.
• Combine 10 drops of Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil with 1 oz of Fractionated Coconut Oil. After cleansing, gently smooth the mixture into the skin to help improve skin tone.
