Description

Atlas Cedarwood Oil is extracted using the steam distillation method, having a yellowish to orange color. The word commonly used to describe the aroma is "balsamic" also being very rich and woodsy. It blends well with oils such as jasmine, ylang ylang, vetivert, and clary sage. Historically the Romans and Greeks would burn the wood to make the air smell aromatic.

Atlas Cedarwood oil is an anti-fungal, diuretic, antiseptic, anxiety, stress, cough, bronchitis, arthritis, rheumatism, and sedative. It stimulates the immune system, relieves urinary tract infection, and supports adrenal glands. It is used for weight loss by promoting the break down of fats in the body.

Used in many skincare cosmetics such as lotions, oil blends, and creams for the healing of rashes, acne, dry skin, eczema, greasy skin, eruption on the skin, cellulite, dermatitis, and fungal infections.

Because of its powerful aroma, it is commonly used in insect repellents as well as incense sticks. Perfumes are also made with this oil because it's fragrant is potent with balsamic tones. It also helps reduce nervous tension in body and mind, helping focus and concentration. Atlas cedarwood oil is an aphrodisiac.

Its properties can be used in insecticides, perfumes, incense sticks, lotions, massage oils, creams, hair loss products, air purifiers, embalming, shampoos, hair tonics, massage oils, and weight loss products.
Described as a healing and regenerative oil. Not to be used during pregnancy. Effective for oily skin and scalp. Wonderful in perfumes, and candles.
