Cedarwood is popularly used to keep items safe from pests and moisture during storage. We may recognize its fresh, sweet, and woodsy aroma from cedar chests or closets in our home. Cedarwood Essential Oil can work to combat damaging insects and the formation of mildew while also eliminating unwanted odors. When used in aromatherapy, Cedarwood Essential Oil helps to improve brain activity which can enhance focus and reduce tension. It is also known to support healthy circulation. This property allows Cedarwood Essential Oil to soothe irritation and inflammation in the skin while also encouraging hair growth and a healthy scalp.

Blends Well With: Cypress, Fir Needle, Lavender, Clary Sage, Patchouli, Rosemary, Vetiver, Frankincense, Neroli, Rose, Sandalwood, and Juniper Berry essential oils.
Method: Steam Distillation
Plant Part: Wood
- Diffuse 3 drops of Cedarwood, 3 drops of Frankincense, and 3 drops of Lavender to reduce tension and clear the mind.
- Combine 5 drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil and 5 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil with a carrier oil inside a 10ml roller bottle. Part hair and roll all over the scalp for a healthy hair and scalp treatment before shampooing.
- Dilute 25 drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil, 2 oz of Witch Hazel Extract, and 2 oz of Distilled Water in a 4 oz spray bottle. Spray liberally on stored clothing and linens to repel insects and keep items smelling fresh.
