Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil derives from the gum resin of the Boswelia serrata tree, which is native to India and the Punjab region. It is also sometimes known as “Indian Frankincense”. This essential oil has stronger earth tones than other Frankincense oils and is commonly used for its antibacterial properties, menstrual pain relief, swollen joints, and clearer breathing. It has been used for centuries for its spiritual and religious uses and is a king among essential oils.
