Policies

Distillation equipment is not included in the Free Shipping program.

Website Orders:

Website orders must be paid by credit card. Visa, M/C, AMEX, or Discover. Our website is secure. Please include Customer Code if account has been established.

Net 30 Credit Terms:

Applications for "credit terms" of Net 30 are available to customers after a consistent monthly ordering pattern is established.

Established businesses are encouraged to apply for credit with their initial order. each application is considered on an individual basis.

Shipping and Handling:

Most orders ship from our warehouse within 2-3 days of placement. UPS ground/surface is our primary method unless otherwise indicated.

Shipping and handling is determined by the weight of the order and the shipping destination or zip code. You may call or e-mail for shipping quotes on orders that may be over 7lbs. Hawaii and Alaska are subject to Priority USPS charges unless otherwise specified by the customer. Expedited, International, Next day, 2 day or 3 day deliveries are available on request and are subject to additional shipping charges.

Back Orders:

We back order all "OUT OF STOCK" items, unless an item is unavailable for more than a month. Items unavailable for more than a month will be issued a credit. The back ordered item will ship as soon as it comes in with free shipping on items 1lb or less in the continental USA. Back orders weighing more than 1lb will be charged out by the weight and the shipping destination or zip code. International back orders are subject to shipping and handling charges based on the weight of the order and the shipping destination.

Gift Certificates:

Gift certificates are available in $50.00 or $100.00 increments.

Returns:

Please call for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. The RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER must be on the outside of the return box. Items must be returned sealed and in resalable condition within 1 month of the invoice date. Products must be packed well to avoid damage in return shipment. Damaged returns are not subject to a refund. Please be sure to get samples before purchasing in large quantities. All opened products and returns received after 1 month of the invoice date are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

External and concealed shipping damages:

Damages must be reported to The Essential Oil Company. Get acknowledgment or documentation from the delivery company for any visible damage at time of delivery. UPS often requires an inspection of the damaged goods. Keep all boxes, containers and broken items for inspection.

Retail Customers:

We offer additional discounts to retail operations. A copy of your business retail license MUST BE ON FILE BEFORE discounts are applied. Fax or mail us a copy of your business license to receive our retailers discount. Essential Oils, Absolutes & Florasols & Perfume Oils 8oz & under receive a 25% discount (excludes bulk pricing starting at 16oz & up) All other products receive a 15% discount (excludes bulk quantities starting at 10lbs, gallons or grosses of bottles) Retail discounts will not be shown on web site orders. Discounts are deducted from orders once they are placed here in our office. The discount will be reflected in your order confirmation.
