Don’t you wish you could distill your own essential oils at home? Now you can in just minutes.
The Microwave Essential Oil Extractor is an apparatus that fits into your home microwave and allows you to extract your favorite essential oils.
Using fresh plants such as lavender, mint, and many others from the garden; you can now make your own oils as simply as making popcorn.
The Microwave Essential Oil Extractor enables you to enjoy fresh essential oils year round, if you freeze freshly harvested plants. Producers of essential oils can sample their oils in small efficient batches, instead of having to use large and costly equipment. This product was developed as a result of sustainable engineering research conducted at Oregon State University.
The kit is placed in the microwave for 6-10 minutes; it uses ice to condense the steam/oil vapors created from the fresh plant material. Each time you use your extractor you can yield up to 3.5 grams of oil depending on the plant material and 7-9 oz of hydrosol. One run uses 50-100 g (1/8-1/4 lbs) of plant material.
Patent Pending No. 61-610,931
