Manuka Oil (NZ Tea Tree) is extracted from the twigs and leaves through steam distillation. The aroma is very earthy, sweet, and woodsy. Blends well with Sage, Patchouli, Grapefruit, Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Basil, Pine, Peppermint, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Black Pepper, Lemon, Bergamot, Geranium, Thyme, Cypress, Lavender, Sweet Orange, Clary Sage, Sandalwood, and Marjoram oils.
Compared to Australian Tea Tree Oil Manuka Oil is much more rich bodied and pleasant in aroma. The Manuka Tree is botanically different than the Australian Tea Tree.Manuka Oil has been used in perfumes, body sprays, body fragrances, incense, skin care products, potpourri, deodorizers, laundry products, shampoos, conditioners, massage oils, hair products, tonic, candles, soap making, sprays, cosmetics, aromatherapy products, bath oils, creams, air fresheners, urinary health, foot sprays, and athletes foot powder.
