Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil derives from the gum resin of the Boswelia serrata tree, which is native to India and the Punjab region. It is sometimes known as “Indian Frankincense”. This essential oil has stronger earth tones than other Frankincense oils and is commonly used for its antibacterial properties, menstrual pain relief, swollen joints, and clearer breathing. It has been used for centuries for its spiritual and religious uses and is a king among essential oils. When used in meditation, Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil can remove negativity and encourage feelings of tranquility and positivity. When applied topically it calms and revitalizes skin, promoting a youthful glow and eliminating unwanted imperfections.

Uses

  • Diffuse 4 drops of Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil with 2 drops each of Rosemary and Eucalyptus essential oils to improve breathing. 
  • Combine 6 drops of Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil and 5 drops of French Lavender Essential Oil with 1 oz of Jojoba Oil and 1 oz of Witch Hazel Extract. After washing your face, apply this serum to the skin to combat signs of aging
  • To relieve menstrual cramps, combine 1 oz of carrier oil with 12 drops of Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil and massage it into the abdomen.
