Clove Leaf Oil

Oil of Clove Leaf Eugenia caryophylatta  Indonesia  Cultivated

Use in candles, soaps, and potpourris. Not as sweet as Clove Bud. Avoid internal use.

Clove Leaf Oil  is extracted from the leaves using water/steam distillation.  Blends well with Allspice, Rose, Ylang ylang, Lavandin, Clary Sage, Bergamont, Lavender, Cananga, and Bay Leaf.  Potent insect repellent, kills ants, mosquitoes, and other pesky bugs.  This natural insect repellent, can be used in sprays and candles.  Can be used as a massage oil to help intestinal pain, diarrhea, cramps, and other tightness in the stomach.  Used to flavor alcohol, drinks, and food.  

Alleviates symptoms from ailments such as bronchitis, arthritis, toothaches, sprains, rheumatism.  Clove Leaf Oil is an antioxidant, sedative, induces sleep, relaxant, stimulates dreams, mild anti-depressant, and uplifts mood.  Can be used as a local anesthetic, used in dental procedures and preparations.  Helps purify the air naturally, antioxidant, and a strong antiseptic.  Relieves symptoms of the common cold and flu such as fever, fatigue, phlegm, fights bacteria and germs.

Clove Leaf Oil has been used in lotions, massage oils, soap making, incense, laundry detergents, air fresheners, aromatherapy treatments, potpourri, dental products, anesthetics, mouthwash, toothpaste, as a natural pain reliever, in diffusers, as an insect repellent an as a flavoring agent.
